Information for Practice (IP) - http://www.nyu.edu/socialwork/ip/  IP is a new, free, resource for social service professionals that is updated daily. The focus is on: professionally relevant stories in the world’s news outlets; new articles in scholarly journals; and new resources appearing in the grey literature (e.g., scientific and technical reports primarily from governments and organizations). The goal of this service is to provide social service professionals with easier access to high quality information that can be used to improve their practice. Users can visit IP as often as they like and even make it their home page. They can use the RSS or Atom options (see the bottom of the News, Articles or Grey Literature column). Alternatively they can subscribe to a service that will alert them at the end of each month when the previous month’s archive is complete. The entire site is searchable via a local Google search feature.  Note: World Wide Web Resources for Social Workers (WWWRSW) was closed in January of 2005.
