Foundation
Finder, updated monthly, is a database with information on more than
65,000 foundations. There are annotated searchable links to more than 200
private, community, and corporate foundations, plus federal grants
and public charities. Also ranks foundations by assets and total giving.

LNPS Online is a searchable database of the literature of philanthropy.
It incorporates the unique contents of the Foundation Center's five
libraries and contains more than 21,700 full bibliographic citations, with
descriptive abstracts for more than 14,400 have. It is updated regularly.

Searchable Database of tax-related information for each of the over
60,000 private foundations that file Form 990-PF with the IRS. Search by
name, state, ZIP code, total assets, or employee identification number;
ZIP codes can be entered using partial zip codes (e.g., 9 or 95 or 954).
The 990-PF form (in PDF and TIFF) needs to be read to find the details
on what the foundation supports. Useful for grant seekers,
philanthropic organizations looking for other organizations with similar
projects, or individual donors wishing to see how private foundations spend
