Contains citations with abstracts covering worldwide literature in 2,200 on geography, geology, ecology, international development, and their related disciplines. Subject coverage includes cartography, climatology, energy, environment, geomorphology, hydrology, photogrammetry, sedimentology, geochemistry, geophysics, paleontology, petrology, volcanology, and much more. Worldwide Political Science Abstracts - Cambridge Scientific Abstracts 1975- Updated Monthly
Combines the merged backfiles of Political Science Abstracts, published by IFI / Plenum, 1975-2000, and ABC POL SCI, published by ABC-CLIO, 1984-2000. WPSA provides citations, abstracts, and indexing of the international serials literature in political science and its complementary fields, including international relations, law, and public administration / policy. The serials list of this new database continues to grow with a focus on expanding international coverage. More than 1,430 titles are being monitored.

GeoscienceWorld - GeoscienceWorld.org Current File Updated Monthly
Provides a searchable database and access to the abstracts for 30 peer-reviewed, high impact geoscience journals from 22 leading societies and institutes from six countries. Extensive backfiles go back as far as 1918 for some journals.

General Science Abstracts - Now searchable as part of Wilson Select Plus 1994-
Covers some 150 titles, including areas of astronomy, biology, botany, chemistry, earth science, environmental issues, mathematics, medicine, physics, and zoology. Links to full text in H.W. Wilson Select are now available for some articles. FirstSearch / Search Guide

Sociological Abstracts - Cambridge Scientific Abstracts 1963- Updated Monthly
Abstracts and indexes the international literature in sociology and related disciplines in the social and behavioral sciences. The database provides abstracts of journal articles and citations to book reviews drawn from over 1,700 serials publications, and also provides abstracts of books, book chapters, dissertations, and conference papers. Records added after 1974 contain in-depth and nonevaluative abstracts of journal articles. Many records from key journals in sociology, published since 2001, also include the references cited in the bibliography of the source article. Each individual reference may also have links to an abstract and/or to other papers that cite that reference; these links increase the possibility of finding more potentially relevant articles.

General OneFile - Gale 1980- Updated Daily
Provides desktop access to more than 6,000 full text periodical titles including 121 wire services; full indexing of The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, The Los Angeles Times, and The Christian Science Monitor newspapers; and a total of more than 10,000 periodical titles with 25 years of backfile coverage from 1980 to present. The database uses the same search engine as our other InfoTrac databases.
